Learn more about Movies in Parks
Auckland Council is proud to bring you Movies in Parks for the fifth consecutive year.
A highlight on Auckland's calendar of events, Movies in Parks is the perfect way to enjoy summer evenings in the city.
In previous years, separate programmes were delivered by the former city councils. In 2012 under the auspices of the new Auckland Council, these programmes have been amalgamated into one massive programme of 24 events, delivered by Auckland Council.
Movies in Parks has two different series, each with its own unique ethos:
- Mercury Energy Movies by Moonlight shows blockbuster flicks
- while New Zealand film talent struts its stuff in A Taste of Kiwi.
Auckland Council would like to thank all the artists, sponsors, supporters, suppliers and people who make Movies in Parks possible.
Don't forget that Music in Parks also continues this summer for its 19th consecutive season. Check out full concert details on the website www.musicinparks.co.nz.
Please ensure all children are supervised at these events.
